Under the direction of the Hematology Franchise Lead, the CAR T Site Lead – based in Riyadh is responsible for managing all operational aspects of CAR T and the service model in selected centers in designated region(s). Among others, the CAR-T Site Lead will be responsible for the design and implementation of CAR T Strategies, account mapping, account plans, qualification process and maintenance of site CAR-T management excellence, HCP education, management of external and internal CAR T stakeholders and coordination of the BMS account/cluster team and cross-functional leadership along with RBM in reference to CAR-T topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as single-point-of-contact/ lead contact person for CAR-T experts and managers in the field of CAR T Reference Sites in designated region (s) serving as a Conduit to relevant Subject Matter Experts as needed and creating a “One Team, One Voice” spirit and perception on the account/customer level
  • Drive cross functionally CAR T center onboarding and ensure timely center qualification in designated region (s).
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders and functions in CAR T Reference centers
  • Continuous account management and improvement.
  • Ensure tactical coordination between Referral and Reference sites
  • Ensure fast and smooth site activation
  • Design and implementation of strategic and tactical CAR-T account plans to ensure the readiness of the reference hospital and excellence in managing CAR-T.
  • Evaluate and assess CAR T center capacity and capabilities and prepare pre launch tactical plan
  • Design and implement strategic CAR T account plans in close cooperation with the local & Cluster Teams
  • Support the CAR T reference sites with projects to ensure excellence in Hospital Readiness for the introduction and on-going administration of BMS CAR-Ts.
Cellular Therapy Unit support and partnership:
  • Educate Cellular Therapy Unit HCP and appropriate staff
  • Manage and support operational aspects
  • Give support to pharmacist requests regarding CAR-Ts at the Reference Sites in coordination with CAM (including contracting).
  • Ensure BMS is perceived by reference centers CAR-T relevant stakeholders as the best partner:
  • BMS Operational model is recognized simple, efficient and hospital & customer oriented.
  • BMS Service Model (Value Added Services) offer is perceived as differentiator
Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • University degree required, life science and/or healthcare management preferred.
  • High scientific knowledge ideally in cell therapy. Hematology/oncology expert knowledge, experience on KoL management
  • Very strong communication skills in English, able to develop and tailor messages to the appropriate audiences.
  • Strong project and process management skills, tech/IT.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, with a well-balanced medical/science, technical and commercial mindset.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to build and maintain reliable customer relationships.
  • Skilled team player, with collaborative mindset and proven experience in team coordination and/or cross-functional leadership
  • Well-organized, structured individual, trouble shooter, problem solver and innovative thinker, comfortable with science and able to teach others.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device industry, preferably in Medical, Marketing and /or Sales roles.
  • Minimum 3 years in hematology and oncology with a strong preference for hematology experience. Profound experience in the pharmaceutical, preferably in marketing, medical roles and/or sales.
  • Experience in Medical devices market well appreciated
  • Proven track record in project/process/account management with the ability to manage and coordinate complex projects and cross-functional teams/networks.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and partner with internal and external stakeholders from the technician, to HCP, to department heads and hospital administrator level.
  • Demonstrated presence and ability to influence executive level customers.
