Job Summary
One of our clients in Riyadh is looking for a Boutique Manager, responsible for producing desirable sales results, achieving the sales target, objectives, sales revenue and maintaining a sustainable customer enchantment at a luxury level by mastering the sales process, product knowledge for optimum profitability. Maintain key client relationships and assure a professional customer service behavior that exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply and implement company culture among the team.
- Manage the opening and closing shifts of the boutique.
- Daily briefs for the team to cover sales performance, CRM review, and daily objectives.
- Weekly meetings with the respective manager to deliver market brief, team updates, retail performance analysis, and upcoming opportunities.
- Weekly meetings with the team to review the KPIs, merchandising needs, special orders follow‑up, opportunities in the pipeline, personal target achievements, and all other boutique‑related matters.
- Lead the boutique to reach monthly and annual targets.
- Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential and monitor sales performance on a continuous basis. Submit all this information in the monthly report.
- Seek new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new businesses for the company.
- Update the management on changing sales trends within the market to foster needed changes and adjust plans accordingly.
- Lead, develop, build and influence a top‑notch and experienced sales team through continuous mentoring, training and weekly meetings.
- Ensure proper stock levels are maintained and dead stock is depleted in the boutique.
- Facilitate and convey feedback to the management regarding retail needs and challenges.
- Work closely with HR for employee‑related matters, identify and reward star performers through the performance management system and career/succession planning.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the company’s key clients in the market.
- Ensure that all sales team contacts regular and potential customers through phone call or direct contact.
- Maximize the usage of salesforce™ CRM system by all the sales team by encouraging the team and reinforcing its benefits.
- Maintain the boutique environment and customer enchantment checklist as per the company standards and run quarterly customer enchantment audits to the boutique (based on the boutique guide).
- Ensure that the boutique is submitting the daily sales report, footfall registration, and win/loss opportunities on a daily basis with complete professionalism.
- In charge of boutique opening/closing procedure, accountable for handling the keys, alarm code, and POS.
- Work roster schedule for all team members and monitor attendance and vacation.
- Prepare the boutique for welcoming customers: check showcase, displays, monitor cleanliness and tidiness of the boutique at all times, and assure the inventory count and control at every beginning of the shift.
- Manage or assign someone to handle the petty cash, and monitor the weekly reports shared with the finance department.
- Place new orders related to stock gaps and sales tools.
- Handle the business emails for any requirements.
- Ensure that all boutique team members are aligned with the company’s grooming standards, work etiquette, and product displays are according to the 5S methodology.
- Present jewellery using company luxury standards.
- Manage the discount average, handle and conduct pricing negotiations professionally with the customer, following the company discount policy.
- Upsell and cross‑sell at any upcoming opportunity and promote other company branches.
- Close the deal and manage the necessary processes as per company standards after sales with customers.
- Respond to any management project when assigned (attending events and exhibitions).
- Report boutique maintenance issues and repairs to the operation team.
- Supervise and assist the sales team in gaining a clear understanding of their customer requirements by asking open and specific questions.
- Manage the team labeling any newly received items, or upon price change.
- Responsible for securing and updating work permits, letters, and other documents as per management requirement.
- Manage and audit the repairs received from customers, and call customers for collection.
- Inventory and cash control.
- Work along with the marketing team by providing a report about customer requirements and what to advertise.
