Job summary

A leading tech firm in Riyadh is seeking a software developer to participate in the development and enhancement of software modules. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of software development experience on the Java platform. Key responsibilities include developing logical design specifications, managing software modules, and participating in technology decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development.
• Knowledge of CMMI and SOA will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of logical design specification.
• Control and maintain all software modules.
• Develop, customize, and enhance software modules.
• Perform unit tests including defect corrections.
• Participate in technological solutions decisions.

Skills

Software development on Java platform

Object-Oriented analysis and design

Data modeling

Business/workflow analysis

Knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server

Job description

Responsibilities

Participate in development of logical design specification of the project which includes software functions, screen flow, etc.

Control and maintain all software modules in the project.

Develop, customize and enhance software modules in the project.

Perform unit test on software modules including defects correction during construction and transition phases.

Participate in technological solutions decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology,

or any related fields.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development on Java platform.

Knowledge of Object-Oriented analysis and design, data modeling and business / workflow analysis.

Knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server.

Knowledge of Web / Application Server such as Apache Tomcat.

Knowledge of CMMI and SOA will be an advantage.
