JOB SUMMARY

Maintain & support existing eCommerce business system applications: Sterling GIS, BizTalk 2004, and all associated support systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ability to perform all duties of the Application Administrator I.
2. Provide leadership in EDI projects for both Customers and Vendors.
3. Develop & execute test plans.
4. Interact with functional resources to understand &/or clarify requirements.
5. Develop architectural and process solutions per our technical analysis to match functional specifications.
6. Work with senior eCommerce programmers to prepare technical specifications for more complex projects.
7. Provide assistance to EC Operations staff in supporting Trading Partners as required.
8. Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department.
9. Ask questions; encourage input from team members.
10. Provide regular updates to appropriate managers.
11. Identify creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
12. Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
13. Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
14. Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement; identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field.”
15. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
16. Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations.
17. Establish new measurement systems if/where possible.
18. Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
19. Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health, Safety, and Quality).
20. Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Jabil or customer specific.
21. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

23. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

1. Customer service skills as well as effective communication skills – both verbal and written.

3. Good working knowledge of standard computer operating systems, i.e. Microsoft, Unix; Knowledge of Gentran Integration Suite.
4. Understanding of object-oriented concepts.
5. Understanding of database objects, tables, views, keys, indexes, stored procedures.
6. Understanding of software design methodologies.
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2004.
8. Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and networks.
9. Knowledge of SAP and IDOC processing.
10. Knowledge of Microsoft BizTalk 2004; EDI standards ANSI, EDIFACT; Rosettnet Standard PIP 2.0.
