Job summary
A leading packaging company in Ipoh is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support operations and ensure production runs efficiently. The role involves assisting maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting preventive maintenance. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, and can work both independently and as part of a team. - Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing or a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Executive in all maintenance-related activities.
- Carry out machinery and equipment repairing, servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Support facility maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and basic handyman tasks.
- Liaise with production operators to understand and address equipment issues.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with ISO 9001 requirements and internal Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance works when required.
