Job description

The major function is to provide all the necessary technical know-how and support for manufacturing operation inclusive of production management and process engineering, failure analysis and maintenance to ensure smooth, effective and efficient running of production.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Engineering (Yield and Efficiency Improvement, Cost Reduction).
• To develop new and improved manufacturing processes and implement them timely.
• To identify process control including FMEA and control plan with consideration of special characteristic and customer requirement.
• To generate and document all process specifications prior to mass production and ensure they meet and are compatible.
• To identify and analyse process and equipment related problems and take corrective actions timely to resolve the problems.
• To plan and develop an effective preventive maintenance program for all key production equipment.
• To monitor spare parts consumption and conduct cost reduction programs.

Production Management

• Capacity versus output management and reporting.
• Yield reporting and SPC (Cpk, X/R charts) reporting.
