Job summary
A local quantity surveying company in Johor Bahru seeks individuals to perform quantity surveying duties vital for office operations. Candidates must possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with proficiency in English and Bahasa. The role requires hands-on project management and attendance at various coordination meetings. Both fresh graduates and those with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply, especially if they demonstrate exceptional qualities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent required.
- Must be independent and a self-starter.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa.
Responsibilities
- Handle and run projects under close monitoring.
- Assist in day-to-day duties on all projects.
- Attend project coordination and technical meetings.
- Assist in preparation of final accounts and measurement of variations.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities allocated by supervisors.
Skills
Education
Required to perform quantity surveying duties necessary for the efficient operation of the office.
- Handles and runs projects under close monitoring and supervision of Senior Assistant Technical Director/Assistant Technical Director/Senior Team Leader [SATD/ATD/STL].
- Assists SATD/ATD/STL in day‑to‑day duties on all projects handled.
- Attends all Project Co‑ordination, Technical or Site Meeting of projects under their care.
- Assist in preparation of final accounts, measurement of variations, measurement of Bills of Quantities.
- Assist in preparation of Bills of Quantities allocated by SATD/ATD/STL/TL.
Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Independent and a self‑starter.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa.
- Fresh graduate or minimum 2 years relevant working experience except candidate with exceptional qualities.
