Formación

  • Fluent in English, Spanish is an advantage.

This role works closely with planning, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to secure the continuity of the operation focuses on data accuracy, monitoring supply risks, and executing routine upstream planning activities. Data Analytics and performance tracking for Critical suppliers. Attend weekly meetings with assigned critical suppliers for Short/Mid/Long range planning. Manage supplier, plant escalations, secure internal KPIs focused on supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the development and formulation of long and mid-range planning, policies, programs and objectives related to Materials Planning Management
  • Assist in maintaining accurate lead times, safety stock levels, and material planning parameters in the system.
  • Assist in identifying potential supply interruptions and support coordination of recovery or contingency actions.
  • Collaborates with Procurement to develop joint business plans for critical suppliers
  • Crisis Management/Escalations: Responsible for developing and implementing supplier escalation process for NAM to drive stability. Only in case of severe shortage impacting the entire region, communicate delays or material constraints to the planning team and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support communication between internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Vendor Forecast Accuracy: Implement monthly process to track, monitor and improve monthly forecast (accuracy and bias) with critical suppliers
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives that balance service, working capital, and costs: Examples include but are not limited to: Vendor Managed Inventory, Upstream Flow Optimization Program
  • Responsible for developing and implementing supplier escalation process for NAM to drive stability. Only in case of severe shortage impacting the entire region, work with the plant upstream planner and set-up a task force to avoid any customer impact
  • Supplier Scorecards: Responsible for monitoring Supplier performance and proactively identifying and mitigating risks
  • Creates performance metrics and standards for all aspects of materials management and implements improvement initiatives
Qualifications

Language: Fluent in English. Spanish is of value.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, or a related area (internships qualify).
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and material planning processes.
  • Working in cross functional teams/roles
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Power BI etc.) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and supply planning principles.
Soft Skills
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Critical thinking / Problem-solving mindset with willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage shifting priorities.
