We are a human resources consultancy specializing in digital talent. We are looking for a UI Designer focused on mobile design to take full ownership of the end-to-end user experience for digital products; creating them from inception to delivery, and ensuring that meet customer needs and business goals.

As a lead UI designer you will have more responsibility around hiring, peoplemanagement, and ownership of our Design System. You will build and drive anatomic-based design system with a high impact on complex and worldwide usedproducts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product design, engineering and research to establish, build, and maintain a comprehensive library of shared components, using a modular approach for Web, iOS and Android interfaces which will be part of the design system.
• Work closely with REACT and mobile engineers to ensure our designed components are in-sync with their needs. Consider technical constraints to always bring incremental value.
• Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of user interface designers.
• Set & lead design reviews, ensure component library use and the quality of deliveries.
• Develop and maintain a shared component library to serve multiple squads.
• Set up knowledge-sharing processes that promote collaboration, pairing, and training.
• Utilize research methods to assess the efficacy of the system and understand customer needs.
• Track the effectiveness and adoption of the Design System as a tool across teams and disciplines.
• Advocate for accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Serve as an advocate for design and the voice of the user in strategic product decisions.

To succeed in this role you’ll need:

• A Bachelor's degree and approximately +5 years of relevant experience in web/mobile design.
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
• An exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong UI and visual sensibilities and experience in creating UI kits for web and mobile applications and/or Design systems.
• Master and expertise on the following: Atomic design, design systems and component libraries, visual hierarchy, interaction design, accessibility, responsive and mobile design.
• Familiarity with design principles: typography, colors, grids, and layouts.
• You are capable of blending UI design with Branding, Illustration or other visual languages in a cohesive design system for a global company.
• Experience working with agile methodologies and have great self-management skills.
• Deep understanding of technical constraints. You have advanced knowledge of frameworks like: Material Design, Bootstrap, CSS, iOS guidelines.
