A global leader in building technologies is looking for a Training Manager in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The role involves managing the training system for new hires, executing skill assessment plans, and ensuring effective training methodologies are applied. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in Lean Manufacturing. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives are essential. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on professional development.

What you will do?
  • Develop and sustaining the training system (on boarding) for newly hired personnel (administrative and operational).

  • Develop, coordinate and execute the plant level skill assessment plan.

  • Design, implement and manage training room & communication room. Coordinate trainer activities.

  • Ensure the training indicators (% training time, % multi-skills, % administrative training, HPT Scorecard).

  • Ensure the implementation of JCMS MP's (related to training and HPT). Coordinate the implementation of branding based on JCMS requirements. Schedule integration events (Salary & hourly).

  • Design, implement and monitor structured training plans (30/60/90 days onboarding, recertification, on the job training)

  • Manage the training matrix, ensuring it is up to date, compliant with certifications, and include cross- training plans.

  • Assign, coordinate, and follow up on mentoring, coaching and carrer development programs for employees and leaders.

  • Ensure coverage of qualified personnel at workstations by identifying competency gaps and establishing targeted clousure plans with specific deadlines. Promote the use of the Learning Network (Corporate LMS) and digital training tools to strengthen technical, professional, and leadership skills with the teams.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelors Degree: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Related Fields

  • Professional certifications in Training & Development, Lean Manufacturing or Coaching (Nice to have)

  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies (classroom, hands-on, on the job training, cross training)

  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, EHS and Problem Solving.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple training iniciatives.

  • Prior experience a similar position.

  • Personal management.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one with an individual.

  • Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches.
