Se espera que el candidato colabore con el gerente en la gestión de órdenes, supervise la actividad de ejecución y mantenga una comunicación continua con los equipos de ventas y operaciones. • Collaborate with the Execution Desk Manager in defining the execution strategy, aiming to meet the customers’ needs minimizing the desk execution risk - Support the Execution Specialists in managing the orders from both internal and external clients, looking for the best prices and customer benefit maximization.
• Focus on increasing the orders flow minimizing the market price impact.
• Coordinate the transaction cost analysis (TCA) to estimate the market impact and minimize the transaction cost, adjusting the trade style to different customers’ needs.
• Look proactively for reinforcing and strengthening the platform/ product offered to the clients, based on identifying and anticipating their needs and requirements.
• Track the orders sent by the clients, verifying that the execution is done following the best price execution principle. Monitor the orders’ delivery timing and the no‑alteration of the instructions sent.
• Monitor the market flows, following up news and events that could potentially impact the market, in order to keep customers informed.
• Lead the desk coordination, delegating tasks amongst his/her team based on their seniority, position and workload. Follow up and supervision of all on‑going execution activity.
• Encourage the coordination and strategic alignment with other Global Markets desks and internal areas. Promote a permanent and on‑going dialogue with the Equity Trading, Sales Trading and Electronic Sales teams in order to mainstream and coordinate the market and customer needs knowledge.
• Assist the Execution Specialists in managing the flow distribution and relationship with external brokers in those markets where BBVA is not a market member.
• Follow up the main desk's activity indicators such as number of orders managed, run time, etc.
• Promote BBVA operational policies and procedures update and knowledge to ensure that all staff is aware of the context in which to carry out their day‑to‑day duties. Ensure that the equity execution activity meets internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Global Trading Manager (Execution) in promoting the development and technological integration of the different execution platforms, seeking to adapt the systems to any operational and regulatory changes and enhancing electronic trading systems (algorithmic trading strategies).
• Introduce the equity execution activity (procedures, systems, market position, etc.) to both internal and external clients.
• Manage all staffing issues, together with the GlobalTrading Manager (Execution) and CIB HR.
• Report to the Global Trading (Execution) Manager on a periodic and ad‑hoc basis about main performance indicators.
