Formación

• Mínimo de 8 años de experiencia en Global Trade Finance.
• Experiencia en ventas deseada.
• Fuertes habilidades de comunicación y presentación.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar una lista de clientes corporativos para identificar oportunidades.
• Preparar propuestas de crédito para aprobación de riesgos.
• Desarrollar estructuras de financiamiento competitivas.

Conocimientos

Experiencia en Global Trade Finance

Comunicación fluida en inglés y español

Habilidades interpersonales y de trabajo en equipo

Dominio de Microsoft Office (Excel y PowerPoint)

Educación

Summary of Responsibilities

• Marketing, origination, structuring and execution of Trade Finance and Working Capital solutions to BBVA’s Global Corporate Clients in Mexico.
• Letters of Credit (issuance, confirmation, advising of Letters of Credit Stand-By LCs, Documentary Collections, etc.).
• Forfaiting.
• Pre-export Finance.
• Structured Trade Finance products such as Prepayments, Inventory Finance.
• Sustainable Trade Finance.
• Coordinates with partners across the organization to deliver seamless Trade Finance solutions to clients, including but not limited to the following: Global Corporate Clients, Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Operations and Funding Desk.
• Negotiating credit agreements with corporate clients, multilaterals, export credit agencies, other financial institutions and legal advisors.
• Provide advisory support to corporate clients and enforce cross-selling opportunities.
• Support manager in strategic planning and segmentation of industries.
• Support manager in forecasting and planning of budgetary objectives and portfolio management.
• Participate in training support to other team members, relationship managers and other product units.

Major / Essential Job Duties

• Managing a target list of corporate clients in coordination with the Global Clients group to identify opportunities and offer all type of trade finance products.
• Engaging in sales efforts by providing necessary products support.
• Prepare credit proposal for risk approval.
• Preparing marketing material including product presentations.
• Developing and putting together competitive financing structures that add value to the customers’ needs.
• Leading the process of negotiating terms and conditions directly with corporate clients.

Skills and Competencies

• An ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years of Global Trade Finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field.
• Sales experience desired.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both oral and written).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Global Trade Finance and Working Capital products and business, and the Sustainability Framework.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience identifying and leveraging internal resources, building and working with cross-bank teams to deliver solutions to clients.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and transactions and executing the transactions in a bank that has a complex multi-country organization.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint in order to deliver high-quality presentations to clients.
