Formación

  • 4+ years of experience in the logistics industry or similar role.

About this opportunity

The Supply Chain Specialist is an experienced logistician with extensive operational and process improvement knowledge, covering international shipping, customs clearance, warehousing and domestic distribution.

In this role, you will
  • Partner global and regional teams to manage operations and fulfilment of our products and auxiliary materials to meet customers demand
  • Understand and navigate through complex and challenging local customs, tax and distribution landscape, considering the regional market
  • Monitor and manage freight and logistics partners' performance for shipping, warehousing and domestic distribution
  • Resolve shipping and distribution related issues and feedbacks with systematic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions - Preventive Actions (CAPA) Plan
  • Drive improvement initiatives to optimize operations and processes with objectives of
  • (a) reducing cost
  • (b) shortening fulfillment lead-time
  • (c) enhancing customer experience
  • Oversee forecast and coordinate with supply sources for timely replenishment of our products & auxiliary materials
  • Enforce strong inventory control and distribution management in SAP or related system
  • Support Global and Regional projects relating to Systems Roll-out, Go-To-Market Strategy (GEOX), Regulatory Compliance, etc
  • Head team to develop, articulate and maintain logistic process documentation
  • Set up team performance assessment KPI and monitoring dashboard
  • Work to maintain accurate Dashboard functionality, Metrics and KPI's
  • Ensure technical competence of team members through training and development
  • Expedite customer escalations and follow up for prompt resolutions and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and / or improve productivity
  • Provide input regarding training needs to customer support's supervisor of training and quality development
In this role, you'll need
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, management information systems or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in the logistics industry or in a similar role managing logistics service providers
  • Experienced with project management tools and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experienced with LEAN / Six Sigma training
  • Experienced with complex problem solving and analysis using statistical methods
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is essential (SAP experience is a definite advantage)
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and decision making skills
  • Advanced English
  • Experience creating business deliverables within the Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Power BI desirable
  • Able to demonstrate proactive customer service
