Formación

UNICEF Mexico is a medium‑size Country Office with programmatic activity and operations through the north and south borders, responding to humanitarian emergencies, delivering services to PFP and the core team in the central region of Mexico.

The Supply & Logistics Associate is accountable for both specialized and procedural communications, supply, logistics and operational services. The incumbent performs highly skilled work on UNICEF supply chains, manages complex cases and client requests, and has a highly independent role that allows Associates to lead and carry out end‑to‑end supply chain management.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Completion of secondary education.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of six years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing and / or contracts management. (Three (3) years plus an additional two (2) years may be substituted for candidates holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree respectively.)
  • Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and / or contracts management and / or supply administration.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in Spanish; Intermediate level of English.
Desirable
  • Previous experience with SAP (VISION) or similar ERP.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
  • Secondary education supplemented by technical or university courses in Finance, Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or related fields.
  • Holding certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or other recognized procurement credentials.
  • For GS category positions, only candidates who are nationals of the country or that hold a valid work permit or residency status will be considered.
