Position Overview

As a Staff Scrum Master & Agile Delivery Lead, you will support teams across the full development lifecycle, from requirements identification and prototyping, through design and implementation, to customer acceptance and delivery. You are especially passionate about working with Agile processes to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will coach teams in Agile and SAFe practices while driving execution excellence, managing risk, and supporting security‑aligned delivery. You welcome the challenge of working in a fast‑paced, discovery‑oriented environment and will be genuinely excited about the prospect of creatively exercising your problem‑solving skills on a continuous basis with an eye to ultimately improving the human condition.

Responsibilities
  • Enable teams to execute Insulet’s strategic plan. This includes coordinating the efforts of cross‑functional team members and third‑party contractors or consultants to deliver the team’s sprint and PI commitments to meet the overall business objectives and plans.
  • Coach the team on Agile principles and Scrum practices, helping them to self‑organize and achieve their Kanban goals.
  • Work effectively in a dynamic development environment with matrix reporting structure.
  • Ensure appropriate business processes, data quality, and systems delivery practices are applied.
  • Work effectively with dispersed, remote and global teams.
  • Facilitate all Agile events effectively, including daily stand‑up, refinement, retrospective, sprint and PI planning team Kanban sessions.
  • Help remove impediments that are obstructing the team from achieving their Kanban and PI goals.
  • Leverage standardized agile team metrics to enable team delivery and provide data‑driven visibility of team performance and organizational transparency to status of deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative environment of continuous improvement that enables teams to advance in new ways of working and build high‑performing teams.
  • Ask inquisitive questions to influence team creativity.
  • Track and ensure closure of remediation work, including security vulnerabilities and audit items.
  • Ensure data quality and traceability in Jira/ADO/Confluence.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations, Security Engineering, and GRC/Risk to support remediation activities.
  • Ensure teams understand security expectations and secure development practices.
  • Support release readiness and required security validations.
  • Provide data‑driven reporting on delivery, risks, and security‑related work.
  • Lead cross‑team dependency planning and integrated delivery schedules.
  • Supports post‑incident follow‑up actions and remediation tracking.
  • Helps teams strengthen operational resiliency.

Required Skills & Competencies
  • Broad application of Scrum/Agile/Kanban principles, practices, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields.
  • Experience with and/or application of scaling frameworks and their principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Experience with Medical Device industry, FDA Knowledge and SAFe framework is a plus.

  • Familiarity with secure development expectations.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Scrum Master certification required.
  • 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity or remediation‑driven work preferred.
