A leading global spirits company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The role is key for managing and driving sales performance across wholesaler, on-premise, and retail channels. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of experience in sales management, especially in the spirits industry, and fluency in English. This position entails strategic development and execution of sales initiatives.

Formación

  • 8+ years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the spirits industry.
  • 5 years of experience in a managerial position.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

What makes this a great opportunity?

The Regional Sales Manager is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for managing and driving sales performance across multiple channels within the assigned region. This role is directly accountable for the wholesaler channel, and indirectly responsible for the on-premise and retail channels. The Regional Sales Manager will also oversee the execution of sales strategies across all channels.

Role Responsibilities

Wholesaler Channel Management:


  • Develop wholesales region strategy that align with overall business objectives and drive sustainable sales growth in the category.
  • Drive sales performance through the wholesaler channel, ensuring targets are met or exceeded


On-Premise and Retail Channel Management (Dotted Line Responsibility):


  • Work closely with the On-Premise and Retail Channel executives and KAM´s to align sales strategies and ensure consistent execution.
  • Support the On-Premise and Retail Channel team in achieving their sales targets.
  • Provide input and feedback on on-premise and retail sales strategies and plans.


Sales Strategy Execution:


  • Monitor sales performance & execution, make necessary adjustments to strategies and plans to achieve sales targets.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor as a must, Master Degree optional.
  • Fluent in English (Written & Spoken)
  • 8+ years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the same industry
  • 5 years of experience in Managerial position.
  • Commercial awareness with previous experience in customer facing roles at the spirits industry.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as required
