Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising – The Assistant Manager, Retail Development and Visual Merchandising is responsible for increasing store footfall by attractively displaying products and merchandise. This role reports to the Visual Merchandising Manager and is responsible for creating an aesthetically engaging retail environment that supports profitability.
Sr. Professional, Visual Merchandising – Under Armour EMEA seeks a Visual Merchandising Senior Professional to be an active member of the EMEA Visual Merchandising team. The main role is to shape the consumer journey and visual identity within managed spaces, maximizing sales and brand consistency. The role is part of the local Go to Market process, from sell-in to retail theatre, helping accounts grow within managed spaces. Collaboration with a third-party VM agency is required to ensure market-wide consistency. The Sr Professional will report to the Visual Merchandising Lead and will be based in the UK.
Sr. Professional, VM Space Planner / Sr. Professional, VM/Field Promotors – Lead design, implementation and maintenance of the Brand’s Visual Merchandising strategy in the region across strategic wholesale accounts, translating seasonal brand and account strategy into assortment that represents the brand and drives the business plan.
Your Impact
- Deliver and maintain high standards of store design and visual merchandising, including store themes, visual calendars, displays and strategies.
- Coordinate with Mall & Contractors through all phases and maintenance; record and collect payment data for total expenditure monthly.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers, obtain approvals, and process purchasing requests and orders; ensure timely payment processing and delivery to Finance.
- Ensure consistent brand themes across branches, determine floor layout and traffic flow, identify display points, and source props, fabrics, hardware and lighting.
- Collaborate with marketing to create visual strategies and promotional events to engage target markets.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve high-quality work within deadlines.
- Roll out the EMEA visual merchandising strategy in the UK, supporting accounts with VM direction, space setup, seasonal floor sets and staff training.
- Liaise with the EMEA office to rollout global VM strategy and brand standards; build strong relationships with local functions.
- Coordinate and train 3rd party VM, provide feedback on VM standards, and identify training opportunities.
- Lead VM space openings with action plans and cross-functional coordination; deliver showroom setup guidelines.
- Conduct administrative tasks such as raising purchase orders, reports, KPI analysis, and cross-functional communication.
Sr. Professional, VM Space Planner / Sr. Professional, VM/Field Promotors
- Collaborate with Category Merchandising, GMM and Account Marketing Planners to select ranges for strategic accounts.
- Support GMM in creating efficient ranges and experience for customers.
- Partner with wholesale accounts to deliver business plans; order samples and set up showrooms to support sell-in.
- Maintain regular analytics on sell-in and sell-through; assess ROI on marketing investments.
- Provide floorset guidance to Channel Marketing and align with seasonal imagery and investments.
- Define and implement UA wholesale strategic account visual presentation standards for the region.
- Build strong relationships with VM Field Promotors and wholesale teams; develop plan-o-grams and visual merchandising plans for strategic accounts.
- Train retail staff in visual merchandising standards; provide updates and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead merchandising floor sets and promotional calendars.
Qualifications
ALL
- Bachelor’s degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience or typically 9 years of relevant work experience without a degree
- Strong product knowledge and VM display standards
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, interior design, retail management or related field preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience in visual merchandising with a retail background
- Comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work
- Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign basic proficiency
- Ability to read store floorplans and light plans
Sr. Professional, VM Space Planner / Sr. Professional, VM/Field Promotors
- 3+ years Merchandising or Visual Merchandising experience, preferably in non-US markets and ideally within sports apparel industry
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of non-US markets, ideally from living/working in LATAM
- Strong presentation and communication skills; analytical mindset for data-driven decisions

Base Compensation
