The Senior Test Manager will lead global QA teams with a primary focus on test automation and complementary manual testing to ensure high-quality delivery of web applications. This role will define and execute the automation strategy, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and drive adoption of modern tools such as AccelQ, Selenium, and cloud-based execution platforms. The position emphasizes building an automation-first culture, expanding automation coverage across functional, regression, API, and end-to-end scenarios, while ensuring manual testing supports critical areas. The Senior Test Manager will mentor teams, establish quality metrics, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
Lead and mentor QA teams focused on automation and manual testing.
Define the roadmap for test automation and CI/CD integration (AccelQ, Selenium, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, BrowserStack).
Establish KPIs and quality maturity models; report metrics to executive leadership.
Collaborate with DevOps to implement automated quality gates and shift-left practices.
Drive expansion of automation coverage for functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated tests into continuous delivery workflows and cloud environments.
Consolidate automation frameworks under unified governance and reporting.
Evaluate and adopt emerging tools to improve speed, reliability, and analytics.
Oversee manual testing for critical scenarios and ensure full traceability.
Align manual test cases to complement automation in areas not covered.
Coordinate performance testing as needed using tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter.
Translate performance results into actionable recommendations for scalability.
Align test strategies with Agile and DevOps delivery models.
Maintain traceability using JIRA, Polarion, or similar platforms.
Drive quality reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
Mentor Test Managers and Engineers in advanced automation practices.
Promote an innovation-driven, automation-first culture.
Proven expertise in test automation strategy and execution (AccelQ, Selenium, API Testing).
Strong experience in API testing and integration with Azure, AWS, and MuleSoft.
Knowledge of CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines.
Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks and test data management.
Ability to lead global teams and collaborate in Agile environments.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years in QA, with 5+ years leading automation initiatives.
Hands‑on experience with modern tools (AccelQ, Selenium, Postman).
Solid understanding of manual testing in critical and regulated environments.
Experience in the MedTech industry is a plus.
ISTQB Advanced, DevOps Foundation certifications.
Experience driving automation transformation and establishing Centers of Excellence (TCoE).
