A leading automotive manufacturer in Mexico, Ciudad de México, is seeking a professional with 4 years of Wire Harness experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. This role requires strong negotiating skills, advanced English knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment. The selected candidate will engage cross-functionally and partner with Program Managers to meet program requirements. The job is hybrid, requiring attendance at the specified location at least three times a week.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships
• Experience with commodities (metals, stampings, castings, plastics, resins, paint, electronics, etc.)
• Experience handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance
• Proven competence in negotiating skills
• Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Critical Skills:

• Automotive industry experience
• Knowledge of procurement software
• Knowledge of materials management
• Capable of interpreting market data
• Able to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents
• Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications regarding purchasing processes

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Advanced English
• 4 years Wire Harness experience
• Ability to work in competitive environment
• Proactiveness in leadership in their activities
• Partner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements/vehicle line overview.
