Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the delivery of innovative, high‑quality software products that contribute to electrification and decarbonization.
• Serve our customers by creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scripts that ensure products meet business and technical requirements.
• Identify, log, and track defects in the bug‑tracking system, ensuring issues are documented clearly and accurately, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Assist in the setup and execution of automated test scripts, working closely with the team to drive innovation in testing processes.
• Participate in QA planning, execution, and reporting on test results, taking accountability for the quality metrics and delivery of our software.
• Collaborate with team members across departments and geographies, contributing to a "one team" mindset to achieve shared goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English.
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico.

Technical expertise

• Experience with bug‑tracking tools like Jira, ADO, or similar.
• Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of scripting languages like Python.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
