Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Internship or academic project experience in embedded systems or software development is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of C programming and real-time systems.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools is desirable.
  • Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, LIN) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in English.

YOUR TASKS

FORVIA HELLA is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of software for our next-generation Power Distribution Unit (PDU). This role supports the success of our intelligent Power Distribution Module (iPDM) programs, featuring eFuse technology, fail-operational power supply, and zone-based architectures. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who want to start their career in automotive embedded systems and work on cutting-edge technologies in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of embedded software for PDU systems.
  • Apply real-time embedded programming in C for microcontrollers (16/32-bit).
  • Support model-based development using tools like MATLAB/Simulink and dSPACE TargetLink.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate eFuse technology and ensure robust power management.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and software architecture discussions.
  • Help analyze system requirements and translate them into software specifications.
  • Support diagnostics, data acquisition, and fail-operational mechanisms for security‑critical functions.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams including hardware, systems, and validation engineers.
  • Gain exposure to AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) configuration and integration.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Internship or academic project experience in embedded systems or software development is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of C programming and real‑time systems.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools is desirable.
  • Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, LIN) is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Exposure to AUTOSAR concepts through coursework or projects.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python or CAPL) for automation.
