After two years of sustained growth, the company is ready to scale operations by delegating core production tasks and freeing the owner to focus on high level strategy and client delivery.
About the Role
We are hiring a full time Social Media Manager and Content Creator with strong creative skills and a deep understanding of content strategy across multiple platforms. This role combines social media management, content creation, video editing, and trend analysis. The person in this position will manage the company’s social media presence, handle internal content projects, and support selected client projects once their skills are verified. This is a creative role focused on quality, innovation, and consistent execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily posting, scheduling, and planning across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Analyze account performance, identify high performing content, and recommend improvements
- Monitor industry and platform changes to ensure content remains relevant and competitive
- Support the creation and maintenance of content calendars
- Manage community engagement and communication across all platforms
Content Creation and Video Editing
- Create original short form and long form content, including videos for YouTube
- Edit videos with a strong creative eye for aesthetic, pacing, storytelling, and brand voice
- Design graphics, storyboards, and visual assets using tools such as Canva
- Brainstorm concepts and pitch creative ideas aligned with brand and audience personas
- Repurpose existing content into new formats for different platforms
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all content
Creative Strategy and Trend Awareness
- Stay up to date with platform trends and emerging content opportunities
- Review social media analytics to identify insights that support content performance
- Track KPIs related to reach, engagement, and growth
- Understand audience personas and create content that resonates with businesswomen and high level female executives
Internal Collaboration and Process Execution
- Communicate proactively with internal teams
- Provide updates on content progress and deadlines
- Manage multiple creative projects at once
- Complete deliverables on time and maintain organized content workflows
Training and Growth
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
- Take assigned courses or learning modules each quarter
- Adapt to evolving creative needs and new project priorities
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in social media management or content creation
- Strong skills in video editing using professional or advanced editing tools
- Proven ability to create compelling visual content for short and long form platforms
- Strong skill in graphic design tools such as Canva
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and understand content performance
- Excellent communication skills
- Strategic thinking and strong sense of ownership
- High creativity, curiosity, and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and create content tailored to professional female audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with multiple brand accounts is a plus but not required
- Industry experience is a plus but not required

- Comfortable on camera. Filming doesn’t scare them. They can create impactful storytelling and utilize marketing principles like hooks and sales tactics, and are willing to learn and implement new ideas quickly. Comfort with storyboarding and scripting content.
- Self-motivated. Give them a direction, and they’ll run with it. They’re organized, proactive, and follow through.
- Curious + trend-aware. They keep up with what’s working on social media and naturally look for fresh ways to reshape and repurpose viral content. Curious about other services like branding, Google Ads, web design, and SEO. Knows about all ongoing projects for clients, and stays up to date on what other team members are up to for company content. Will learn to have a deep understanding of other services we offer during onboarding.
- Easygoing + adaptable. They don’t get thrown off by switching tasks or trying something new. Variety energizes them.
- Eager to learn. They’re excited about training, skill-building, and quarterly upskilling projects. Quickly onboard to new software and productivity tools. If you don’t want a certain topic or industry, you watch YouTube tutorials to learn before asking. If you still don’t understand, then reach out. A large part of this role is research-based so the ideal candidate must enjoy deep diving into new topics and learning about niche audiences.
- Detail-oriented but not perfectionistic. They care about clean edits and good pacing, but don’t let perfection slow them down. Know or willing to learn project management software. Must have good file management habits. Follows SOPs and double-checks their work to avoid any mistakes. Examples: uses tools for proofreading in every project, always checks the brand kit before submitting posts for review to ensure alignment, and double-checks 3rd party reports against in-app metrics.
- Positive, fun, collaborative energy. They’re friendly, easy to work with, and open to feedback. They are comfortable speaking up and giving creative input. Likes to yap. Good vibes.
- Rarely Client Facing. They may meet with clients upon request. For example, when onboarding to a special project, but will not be expected to be client-facing often.
