A manufacturing company in Tijuana seeks an experienced SMT Technician to lead installation and maintenance of SMT equipment and ensure compliance with safety/quality standards. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience and strong skills in machinery operation, PCB handling, and SMT processes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training staff, and process optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the installation, programming and maintenance of SMT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SMT machinery.
• Develop and manage FMEA to identify potential risks.
• Create and maintain process maps for SMT workflows.
• Draft work instructions for consistent execution of assembly processes.
• Review and optimize PCB designs for manufacturability.
• Assist in the selection and validation of components.
• Perform SMT testing and assembly.
• Conduct failure analysis on PCB assemblies.
• Train technicians on SMT best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, programming and maintenance of SMT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SMT machinery, including lightning inspection systems X, reflow ovens.
• Develop and manage FMEA to identify potential risks and implement strategies mitigation.
• Create and maintain process maps to visualize and optimize SMT and workflows. overall.
• Draft and refine detailed work instructions to ensure consistent and reliable execution of SMT and PCB assembly processes.
• Review and optimize PCB designs to ensure manufacturability and reliability. alignment with SMT processes
• Assist in the selection and validation of components, ensuring compatibility with manufacturing processes.
• SMT testing and assembly.
• Perform failure analysis and corrective actions on PCB assemblies to identify root causes.
