A tech-driven data solutions company seeks a Sales Engineer to demonstrate technical expertise and assist clients in utilizing their data platform effectively. You will collaborate closely with prospects to determine configurations and ensure successful onboarding. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in SaaS, technical pre-sales experience, and strong skills in communication and client management. Formación

About the role
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in sales presentations, product demonstrations, customer training, technical onboarding, RFPs, and RFIs.
  • Help Sales and Customer Success to understand the processes, pains, needs, and wishes of prospects and customers.
  • Work closely with prospects and customers to identify the best configuration options.
  • Help explain features and releases to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to help influence product roadmap based on market / customer requirements.
  • Own the discovery and qualification of Improvado's technical compatibility with prospects and provide consultative guidance on technical deal strategy.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure Proof of Concepts, Trial, and Onboarding are successful.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by translating, aggregating, and representing customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Utilize strong business acumen, including best practices and business processes, to understand and communicate business requirements and solutions strategies to customers and prospects.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS environment.
  • 3+ years of Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering / IT Project management or software engineering experience.
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising, ad-tech, and mar-tech space.
  • Experience as a client-facing Sales Engineer, comfortable in the sales environment.
  • Superior communications skills.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • An understanding of the principles of working with large amounts of data, the ability to structure information and technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of APIs, Relational Databases, Cloud Architecture.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehouses.
Nice to Have
  • You have worked on the most popular DWH / DB / Cloud Storage (e.g. Google BigQuery, Amazon S3, Snowflake, etc.)
  • You analyzed marketing performance data.
  • Experience working in a Startup.
