The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in regulatory licensing with strong knowledge of financial regulations. You will manage regulatory submissions, liaise with authorities, and ensure compliance across the region. Fluent Spanish and proficiency in English are required, with Portuguese as a plus. Formación

Regulatory Licensing Manager - LATAM

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Licensing Manager to lead our licensing efforts across Mexico, Brazil, and other Latin American markets.The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with regulatory licensing in LATAM, particularly in Mexico MTL, Mexico IFPE, and Brazil VASP authorization (DASP).

They will also have a strong understanding of the LATAM financial, payments, and digital asset regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Leading licensing submissions and regulatory filings across Mexico, Brazil, and additional LATAM markets.
• Managing licensing applications and regulatory submissions for Mexico MTL and IFPE, including documentation, policies, and regulator follow-ups.
• Preparing and maintaining regulatory documents, policies, governance frameworks, and official responses.
• Liaising with regulators, external counsel, consultants, and auditors across LATAM.
• Ensuring ongoing post-licensing compliance (regulatory reports, audits, governance, and controls).
• Monitoring regulatory developments in LATAM and providing structured impact analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Working closely with Compliance, Legal, Banking, and Product teams to align business plans with regulatory requirements.
• Supporting licensing readiness and planning for future new markets in the region.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in LATAM regulatory licensing, fintech / payments compliance, or financial services regulation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Mexico MTL, Mexico IFPE, Brazil VASP authorization (DASP).
• Strong understanding of LATAM financial, payments, and / or digital asset regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to prepare regulatory submissions and interact with supervisory authorities.
• Native Spanish with strong written skills; English required; Portuguese is a plus.
