Job Description
As a Data Scientist within Jellyfish’s Cloud and Martech practice, you will help design and deliver advanced measurement, modelling, and predictive analytics solutions that improve client performance and inform strategic decision‑making. You will work across multiple teams to transform complex data into clear insights, build scalable analytical frameworks, and apply modern data science techniques to real marketing and customer experience challenges.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys statistical problem‑solving, collaborative project work, and building analytical products that directly influence media efficiency and business outcomes.
Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover trends, diagnose performance issues, and generate actionable recommendations.
Apply and explain data science methodologies such as Geo‑based experiments, Media Mix Models, Causal Impact Studies, Incrementality testing, and other robust statistical approaches.
Develop and implement predictive and causal models that improve media performance, customer experiences, and revenue outcomes.
Work with internal partners and external platforms to advance our capabilities in incrementality testing, media modelling, and privacy‑safe measurement techniques.
Build reproducible analytical workflows, document processes clearly, and create repeatable frameworks that scale across clients and markets.
Translate model outputs into compelling narratives through visualizations, dashboards, and structured readouts.
Collaborate closely with Cloud Engineers, Analysts, and Martech specialists to ensure solutions integrate effectively into client ecosystems.
5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a quantitative discipline.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Matplotlib, or similar.
Understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including paid media channels, web/app analytics, and measurement frameworks.
Experience working with datasets from tools such as Google Analytics, Campaign Manager, Amazon Marketing Cloud, ADH, Meta, or equivalents.
Familiarity with MMM, incrementality testing, attribution models, or causal inference techniques.
Curiosity and initiative, you look for ways to improve, automate, and scale analytical work.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex methods to non‑technical stakeholders.
Exposure to machine learning concepts (hands‑on experience is a plus).
Note: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees. If you want to join our collaborative team, we invite you to apply today with your resume in English.
