Una compañía de energía en México busca un Gerente de Contratos para liderar la gestión de contratos LNG y EPC. Los candidatos deben tener al menos 10 años de experiencia en derecho corporativo/energético, con habilidades en negociación y gestión de riesgos. Se ofrece un puesto a tiempo completo en modalidad presencial. Se requiere manejo de inglés avanzado y conocimiento en estándares de contratación internacional.

Formación

• Experiencia mínima de 10 años en derecho corporativo o energético, preferiblemente en el sector de petróleo y gas o LNG.
• Certificaciones como IACCM/WorldCC, PMP o equivalentes son una ventaja.
• Dominio del inglés hablado y escrito.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar la gestión de contratos complejos, incluidos acuerdos de EPC/EPCM y de suministro de LNG.
• Desarrollar estrategias de negociación y liderar negociaciones contractuales.
• Identificar riesgos contractuales y proponer estrategias de mitigación.

Main Responsibilities

1. Lead the end‑to‑end management of complex contracts including EPC/EPCM, LNG offtake and supply agreements, charter party agreements, operations & maintenance, and service contracts.
2. Develop negotiation strategies and lead contract negotiations with vendors, suppliers, partners, and customers to ensure optimal commercial terms and risk allocation.
3. Identify contractual and commercial risks, propose risk mitigation strategies, and ensure alignment with corporate risk management frameworks.
4. Work closely with Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure contracts meet business needs and comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
5. Manage contractual changes, variation orders, claims, and disputes in a timely and strategic manner.
6. Ensure contracts are compliant with internal policies, legal regulations, and international standards (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, LNG SPAs, chartering laws).
7. Maintain robust documentation and reporting systems to track contract status, obligations, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s or legal qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification experience in corporate or energy law, preferably in the oil & gas or LNG sector.
• Certifications such as IACCM/WorldCC, PMP, or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong understanding of LNG project structures and commercial contracts.
• Expertise in international contracting standards (e.g., FIDIC, LNG SPA terms).
• Advanced negotiation and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Icertis).
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
