Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help design, build, and scale the backend services that power our AI‑driven marketing platforms.

In this role, you’ll work hands‑on developing robust backend systems, integrating AI and data pipelines, and ensuring our platforms are reliable, secure, and cloud‑ready. You’ll collaborate closely with AI engineers, DevOps, and product stakeholders to deliver production‑grade solutions used by international clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep backend work, modern architectures, and applying AI technologies in real products.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development (≈70%)

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Build backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask) or Node.js
• Implement and optimize data flows interacting with AI/ML models
• Work with relational and non‑relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB)
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems

Cloud, AI & Integrations (≈30%)

• Deploy and manage backend services on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, or Bicep
• Integrate with AI platforms and tools (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, vector databases)
• Implement authentication, monitoring, and observability solutions
• Collaborate with DevOps and architects on cloud and infrastructure decisions

Requirements

Must-Have

• Strong experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask) or Node.js
• Solid backend engineering experience in production environments
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code concepts
• Experience integrating APIs and external services
• Advanced English (daily communication with international teams)

Nice to Have

• Experience working with AI/ML tools (OpenAI API, LangChain, RAG pipelines)
• Knowledge of dbt, Spark, or data processing pipelines
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
• Experience in fast‑paced startup or scale‑up environments
