Job responsibilities/ Role Requirements include:
- Provide subject matter expertise on tax determination, reporting and compliance (including e-invoicing regulations and solutions across multiple jurisdictions, with emphasis on LATAM markets)
- Demonstrate hands‑on experience with E‑invoicing platforms and solutions (such as SAP DRC, Peppol, Pagero, Sovos, or similar) and their integration with SAP S/4HANA
- Apply deep knowledge of LATAM‑specific tax requirements, including electronic fiscal documents (CFDi in Mexico, Factura Electrónica in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, etc.)
- Perform detailed analysis, feasibility, and integration design of business processes within SAP S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, and FI) to the integration, with particular focus on LATAM localization requirements. Must have S/4HANA implementation experience
- Assist in project management, implementation planning and test approach / planning
- Solid understanding of tax data flow between organizational systems, technical architecture, integrations, and data pipelines between ERP and Tax/compliance systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally with other Functional Consultants, Developers/Architects, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, Tax Research, Customers and Prospects across LATAM regions
- Prepare detailed Functional Specification documentation with use cases, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents to explain requirements internally and externally in both English and Spanish
- Support the product development process, working closely with Development, QA and Documentation teams throughout the whole product life cycle, validating functionality, as well as preparing the rest of the organization for product release
- Assist with end‑user documentation, process flows, specifications, and diagrams to provide direction to customers, partners and professional services, and support teams
- Support product rollouts and implementations as domain expert and/or primary business interface to other parties, particularly for LATAM customers
- Follow product into the field to ensure customer success, providing business and data integration expertise to customers, partners and internal professional services personnel as needed
- Assist in providing 2nd level support and training to Customer Support, Professional Services, and integration partners
- Provide business expertise in sales calls as needed, including presentations to LATAM prospects
Qualifications:
- Required: 3+ years of experience in SAP localization requirements, with specific expertise in LATAM countries (Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, or similar)
- Required: Proven experience with E‑invoicing compliance and implementation of E‑invoicing solutions in production environments
- Required: Experience in Indirect Tax Compliance and E‑Invoicing across multiple LATAM jurisdictions
- Required: Hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and support
- Required: Experience with at least one major E‑invoicing platform or tax compliance solution
- Understanding of LATAM regulatory bodies and tax authority requirements
Special skills and knowledge requirements:
- Required: Professional proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal) for business communications, documentation, and customer interactions
- Required: Deep understanding of LATAM electronic invoicing formats and standards (XML structures, digital signatures, validation rules)
- Knowledge of SAP localization experience for LATAM countries
- Familiarity with LATAM payment methods, withholding taxes, and fiscal reporting requirements
Other Qualifications:
- Required: Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in interacting with management and communicating functional vision to both internal and external constituencies in English and Spanish
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience and skills,
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong desire to learn & highly self‑motivated
- Ability to multi‑task and work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Possesses a professional and cooperative attitude
- Self‑starter who works well both independently and on a team
- Experience managing and/or being managed by remote teams/offices, including across different time zones in the Americas
