At Ruhrpumpen, a global leader in pumping solutions, we’re looking for a Sales Engineer specialized in Fire Systems to join our commercial team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with technical sales experience and strong customer relationship skills.

Job Objective

To grow the Fire Systems business by developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective clients, offering tailored pumping solutions, and driving sales across all market segments.

Key Responsibilities

Grow business across the territory through regular customer visits and active prospecting.

Maintain and manage strong relationships with existing customers.

Promote and sell our fire system products and services.

Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.

Negotiate orders, including technical, commercial, and legal details.

Visit customer sites regularly to ensure consistent face-to-face engagement.

Entertain clients during and outside of business hours when needed.

Prepare monthly activity reports and project analysis to support management strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field preferred).

Previous experience in technical sales, preferably in fire systems or industrial equipment.

Familiarity with NFPA standards (preferred).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Intermediate to advanced English (preferred).
