About the Role
Our team is seeking a highly skilled Email Marketing Strategist / Manager who will own and drive the lifecycle marketing strategy from lead capture to segmentation, nurturing, and re-engagement. This role will focus on building and executing campaigns that will significantly grow our email list and convert leads into revenue, leveraging a data‑driven approach to improve performance continuously. The ideal candidate will work across teams to ensure integrated campaigns and optimize email strategies at every stage.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive roadmap to increase our email list by 5 times within 12 months.
- Create and execute a plan for creating lead magnets (reports, calculators, webinars, playbooks).
- Establish a robust segmentation and personalization framework to tailor messaging, improve engagement, and drive conversions across all lifecycle stages.
- Oversee the creation of custom welcome journeys and optimize all existing sequences.
- Implement a simple lead scoring model based on fit, behaviors, and engagement.
- Design a content plan for each segment to deliver the right message at every stage of the funnel.
- Track, report, and optimize key metrics, including list growth, engagement (open rate), MQLs, meetings booked, and revenue.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (SEO, Content, Design, Sales) to ensure integrated and aligned campaigns.
Must‑Haves
- At least 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years focused on email / lifecycle marketing in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated ability to grow email lists and convert them into revenue‑generating channels.
- Hands‑on experience with email automation tools, specifically HubSpot (or similar), for campaign management, workflows, and reporting.
- Strong copywriting skills with a focus on clear, conversion‑oriented email messaging.
- Analytical mindset with experience in A / B testing, lead scoring, and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing nurture campaigns with ICP‑targeted messaging that move leads from awareness to booked calls.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently to execute high‑impact campaigns.
- Ability to define and implement segmentation strategies for targeted messaging and increased engagement.
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Experience working in a startup or agency environment.
- Familiarity with content strategy and CRO best practices.
