Remote Consultant - Investment Operations Analyst (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $2,000 USD/month, paid through bank transfer

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

They co-invest with select venture capital leads in companies resolved on building diverse and inclusive teams. They seek to drive top returns while influencing the ecosystem and representing the LGBTQ community, its allies, and a diverse group of investors within the capital stack of its portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

The Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Investment processes and procedures are followed and up to date on a daily basis. Project work may also be assigned as needed. The Operations Analyst reports to the Investment Operations Associate/Manager/Director.

  • Assist operations team in the end to end investment process
  • Dealing with portfolio companies
  • Collecting funds and documents from investors
  • Reviewing legal documentation
  • Analyzing, entering, and auditing data into our system
  • Calculation of fees / investment amounts
  • Tracking and prioritizing multiple tasks/investors simultaneously
  • Assisting with monthly / quarterly financial reports
  • Reviewing updates from portfolio companies and summarizing key information for leadership
  • Work with transfer agents and legal counsels to understand the restrictions
  • Crafting notes to investors detailing the nuances of exits
  • Tracking and reporting to senior management on all restricted securities exits
  • Ensuring exits are handled in a timely fashion
  • Working with tax operations team to verify, consolidate, and audit database information to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax reporting
  • Working with exits operations team to process, handle, and ensure all required data is gathered for publishing and reporting purposes
Qualifications
  • Advanced English language skills (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Propensity to take initiative.
  • Background in finance, math, business, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • 1-2 prior work experience with US company is preferred.
  • Secure Internet – High Speed for video meetings.
  • Company Standards for Secure Personal PC – Must have 16 G memory for proper connection to company systems.
