A leading campervan provider is seeking a QA Automation Specialist to define testing strategies and build automation frameworks. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, including proficiency with Playwright or Cypress for E2E testing and SQL for data analysis. The role requires on-site availability in Mexico City and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude to improve product quality in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

• Define test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria across squads; manage test cycles for releases.
• Build automation frameworks: E2E (Playwright/Cypress), API (Postman/Newman or REST-assured), and regression suites in CI.
• Set quality gates in pipelines; track bug escape rate, flakiness, and release health dashboards.
• Perform exploratory testing, usability checks, and accessibility validations (axe).
• Own local automations: n8n/Make/Zapier + Python/JS scripts to integrate tools (Zendesk, Airtable, Slack, Spendesk, Twilio).
• Do data analysis with SQL/BI (Metabase/Looker/Superset) to quantify impact and spot anomalies.
• Partner with Support/Operations to close the loop on issues and improve SLAs.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of QA / QA Automation experience
• Proven experience building automation frameworks and CI-gated test suites
• Proficiency with Playwright or Cypress for E2E testing
• Solid API testing experience (Postman, Newman, or REST-Assured)
• Good SQL skills for data validation and analysis
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent English (Spanish also a plus)
• Strong debugging, clear defect reporting, and a metrics-driven mindset
• On-site availability in Mexico City (Colonia del Valle), Monday to Friday
• Proactive, startup-minded attitude and ability to take ownership

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with AI-driven testing tools
• Knowledge of n8n / Make / Zapier for internal tool automations
• Familiarity with Metabase, Looker, or Superset for data analysis
• Understanding of DORA-style quality metrics
• Experience performing accessibility testing (e.g., axe) and usability testing
• Previous exposure to travel, mobility, or e-commerce tech products
• Collaborative mindset with Product, Engineering, and Support teams
