Project Technician

Job Title: Project Technician

Location: Remote (Mexico)

About the Role

Provide technical support and implementation of Rockwell Automation products in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and colleagues in configuration and maintenance of automation solutions.


• Install and commission Rockwell automation equipment and systems, ensuring functionality and specification compliance.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot automation system issues, using diagnostic tools to minimize downtime and maintain equipment operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering.


• 2 years of experience in a similar position.


• Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products.


• Intermediate English.


• 80% travel availability.

Preferred

• Experience with Logix programming, Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block, Sequential Function Chart.


• Knowledge of PlantPAx, GEMS, S88/Phase Manager.


• Networking and Ethernet communications experience.


• Application development (Virtualization, ThinManager, AssetCentre) and Disaster Recovery.


• Security and historian skills.
