A manufacturing company in Nuevo Laredo is looking for a Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules for industrial products. Responsibilities include analyzing production specifications, planning workflow, and coordinating with supervisors on project status. The ideal candidate should have a BA/BS degree, experience in manufacturing, and be bilingual in Spanish and English. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment with a focus on optimizing processes.

Formación

  • BA/BS Degree Preferred- Business or Technical.
  • APICS certification desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Materials management, including at least two years in Materials Management as a Planner / Master Scheduler.
  • Spanish/English bilingual.

The Production Planner plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of more sophisticated models of industrial or commercial products. Prepares timeline to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data of smaller departments and work centers to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Plan and schedule workflow for Production Operations and departments according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
  • Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects and special orders. The Planner 2 role will monitor the less involved project orders with lower profile and/or smaller dollar impact.
  • Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Prepare production reports and report out via written reports.
  • Track non-conformance reports for timely resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree Preferred- Business or Technical.
