A manufacturing company in Tijuana, Baja California, seeks a Product Engineer to develop and improve products while providing technical support to ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2–5 years of experience in product engineering. Proficiency in CAD software, intermediate English, and knowledge of manufacturing processes are essential. This role involves coordinating with various teams and ensuring products meet standards throughout their lifecycle.

Formación

Descripción del empleo

To develop, improve, and provide technical support for company products, ensuring they meet customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and timelines throughout the product lifecycle.

1. Design and develop new products and improvements to existing products.
2. Create and maintain technical documentation: drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering changes.
3. Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure proper product implementation.
4. Provide technical support to production to resolve design- or process-related issues.
5. Participate in product validation, testing, and release activities.
6. Manage engineering change requests and notices (ECR/ECN).
7. Ensure compliance with applicable standards (ISO, etc.).
8. Support technical inputs for quotations and cost analysis.
9. Follow up on customer requirements and audits.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).
2. 2–5 years of experience in product engineering or similar roles.
3. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).
4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
6. Intermediate to advanced English.
7. Proficiency in Excel and analytical tools.
8. Valid visa required
