Una empresa manufacturera destacada en Apodaca, Nuevo León, busca un/a Plant Manager con al menos 10 años de experiencia en roles de gestión. El candidato ideal debe tener experiencia en Lean manufacturing y Six Sigma, además de ser bilingüe en inglés y español. Este puesto implica responsabilidad en la planificación, coordinación y gestión del presupuesto de la planta. La empresa ofrece un contrato de tiempo completo.

Formación

  • Experiencia mínima de 10 años en una variedad de roles de gestión.
  • Experiencia en manufactura Lean y Six Sigma.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal.

Responsabilidades

  • Planificar y coordinar las actividades necesarias para la fabricación.
  • Aumentar la efectividad y eficiencia de los servicios de apoyo.
  • Revisar estados financieros para medir la productividad o logros.

Title: Monterrey, Mexico Plant Manager

Reports To: President / COO

Function: Plan, direct, or coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, safety and quantity specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Accept responsibility for your Safety and the Safety of others by using Safety awareness to eliminate unsafe acts and correct unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in Lean events and initiatives to support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission - specifically support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Ensuring that the goals and objectives of the company are met within the stipulated deadlines.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of departments concerned with the production, materials management, scheduling, and distribution of products.
  • Play a significant role in long‑term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Review financial statements or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement; development of individual program budget.
  • Ensuring that the employees are abiding by the rules and regulations of the company and making the business policy of the company work.
  • Support the analysis, planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of key projects to help companies achieve their goals using six sigma methodology and analytics.
  • Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.
  • Negotiate, finalize and approve the labor union yearly contract review with the union committee.
  • Maintain a positive labor environment on direct, indirect labor employees.
  • Create and manage to the annual budget for the plant as well as maintain the monthly results within the budget justifying and significant deviations.
  • Develop a plan to provide the required technical training to the personnel that require it.
  • Responsible for the addition of equipment to the plant whether it is by transfer from other locations or new equipment.
  • Inform timely of any expense larger than US$5.000 required in the plant sending for approval the corresponding Authorization For Expenditure.
  • Inform top management of any unusual situations that may arise in the plant to define course of action required
Education/Experience Required
  • Bachelors or higher degree in relevant fields of Manufacturing, Management, Engineering, Quality and/or Business.
  • Desired prior plant management experience with proven supervisory/managerial skills
  • Minimum 10 years in a series of varied management role leading others.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Cloud Suite of Applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Fully bilingual English/ Spanish
