A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Planning Supervisor to maximize service levels and minimize inventory levels. You will create and monitor production schedules, manage raw material inventory, and optimize purchasing processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has over 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, alongside strong planning and supplier management skills. Fluent English and ERP knowledge are necessary. This position is based in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, as a Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for maximizing service levels while minimizing inventory levels, requisitioning purchased component materials, and expediting materials through production. You will also be responsible for reviewing current production schedules that support the manufacturing process. You will create, follow up on, and report production schedules to ensure alignment with supply and demand.

About the Job

• Create and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely supply of raw materials for production.

• Control raw material inventory levels according to business guidelines and reduce obsolete/excess stock.

• Monitor and manage logistics costs related to material shipments and coordinate material requirements for new product introductions.

• Support Finance in resolving overdue or pending invoices, raw material requirements with suppliers, and determine shipping methods.

• Manage blocked, consigned, and quality-inspection inventory and ensure proper disposition.

• Plan, control, and manage all materials to ensure compliance with the production plan.

• Ensure that weekly production planning schedules are obtained in advance to maintain supply chain stability.

• Optimize purchasing processes and disposition of obsolete materials while keeping system master data accurate and updated.

• Location: Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.

• Fluent English (90% proficiency, including strong conversational ability).

• Strong planning, inventory, and supplier management skills.

• ERP system knowledge (experience with Littelfuse systems is a plus).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with a sense of urgency.

• Effective communication and collaboration at all organizational levels.

• Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene standards.

• Experience working under ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001, IATF, CELC, and C-TPAT compliance is preferred.
