A premier behavioral healthcare provider located in Mexico, Sonora is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves providing direct care to behavioral health patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have some healthcare experience. Formación

CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team that provides direct care to behavioral health patients under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), either in person or telephonically. The primary focus is direct patient care as directed and delegated by the RN, Lead PCT, Operation Supervisor, Operations Administrator, or Program Manager. The PCT is also responsible for the safety of the unit assigned, including identifying environmental and patient‑specific safety concerns and escalating them to the RN, RN Manager, Operations Supervisor, or designee as needed.

Skills/Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of health‑care related experience providing adequate exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
