Descripción del empleo
Position Summary

Focus on the design and optimization of XRX lens design. Responsible for the full-process optical technology implementation from requirement analysis, solution design to prototype verification. Provide core optical solutions with high performing features (e.g., optical quality, weight and thickness) for lens products to support technical competitiveness in the prescription solution of Extended Reality.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development of XR Lens Optical Systems
    • a. Responsible for the design of core optical systems for XR prescription lenses, mainly focusing on the optical structure design, simulation, and optimization of freeform surface lenses.
    • b. As per product requirements (e.g., form factor and optical performance), formulate optical design indicators, initiate feasibility demonstration and technical selection of optical solutions, and generate optical design scenario and technical documents.
    • c. Lead the iterative optimization of optical design, propose targeted solutions for existing product issues and ensure optical performance meets product requirements.
  2. Optical Simulation, Analysis and Verification
    • a. Perform optical modeling, optical path simulation, and imaging quality analysis for XR prescription lenses with professional optical design softwares.
    • b. Conduct comparative analysis between optical simulation and actual test results, establish error correction models, and improve the accuracy and reliability of optical design.
  3. Cross-functional Technical Collaboration and Support
    • a. Provide requirements for material properties in optical design (e.g., refractive index, Abbe number, light transmittance, thermal stability) and participate in the selection and verification of optical materials. Participate in product definition discussions, provide professional suggestions from optical design perspective to ensure the technical feasibility of product requirements.
    • b. Convert optical design scenario into scalable production process parameters, and support solving optical technical issues during mass production to improve yield.
  4. Technical Accumulation and Innovative Exploration
    • a. Track cutting-edge technological trends in the global XR optics field (such as new waveguide technologies, meta surface optics, holographic optics, etc.), conduct forward‑looking technical research and pre‑research work, and provide support for the team's technological innovation.
    • b. Participate in the patent layout of XR optics‑related technologies, be responsible for the drafting and application of patents in the direction of optical design.
    • c. Form standardized design specifications and knowledge bases.
Qualification
  • Min. 3‑yr experience of ophthalmic lens design.
  • Min. 1‑yr experience of XRX lens optical design.
  • Own full optical design project experience (priority will be given to candidates who have participated in the design, verification, and mass production implementation of at least one optical product).
  • Optical design capability.
  • Software operation capability.
  • Technical analysis capability.
  • Cross‑function communication and collaboration capability.
