A multinational software development organization is seeking an Operations Director in Mexico. This role will oversee the management of sales, technical support, marketing, and administrative teams. Responsibilities include ensuring team collaboration, resolving daily operational challenges, and enhancing team skills. The ideal candidate should possess 5-10 years in management with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in English is mandatory. Travel to various offices will be required.

Formación

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role and in a management position.

• Advanced level of English (mandatory), both written and spoken.

Overview

Are you driven by challenges and growth? Are you known for your strong interpersonal relationship and leadership skills? PolyWorks Mexico is currently looking for an Operations Director like you.

Responsibilities

Here are some of the main responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the headquarter, hire and manage the sales, technical support, marketing and administrative teams
• Make sure that the teams collaborate: promote and support interactions between departments
• Oversee daily business operations and be actively involved to resolve difficult situations
• Proactively review processes that are not efficient
• Understand the corporate processes and make sure that what has been decided was applied
• Guarantee the development and maintenance of the team’s skills
• Create a positive and stimulating work environment to ensure team commitment, in line with the values of the InnovMetric group
• Evaluate the performance and productivity of the team
• Collaborate with the local Vice President of Product Engineering and ensure consistent practices in both Mexican offices
• Generate a monthly progress report

Position based in Queretaro. You will be required to travel on a regular basis to our offices in Puebla and Monterrey.

Qualifications

• Possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role and in a management position
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the major operation fields (sales, mkt, tech support, etc.)
• Have excellent communication skills and an advanced level in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
• Possess an engaging leadership, emotional intelligence, and great collaboration skills
• Have problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Possess relevant experience in administrative formalities with SAT and other government’s agencies
• Demonstrate excellent management skills and knowledge of different business functions

• Have a strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills
