NAFTA LOGISTICS DIRECTOR
Tasks
Develop the required organization to support business vision and long-term goals.
- Propose Logistics Organization Best Practices and Lessons Learnt, ensuring know how capitalization and implementation
- Building North America Corporate Logistics budgets, support and validate Plant Materials budget process, follow up related KPI target’s achievement.
Central Material Planning
- Leading team of the CMP and coordinate activities to ensure the adequate stock level are maintained and material planning releases according to the company needs and customer requirements
- Define improvement plan by monitoring process : Plant KPI (Inventory value, stock accuracy , OTD, obsolescence level , JNI )
- Drive implementation of the tools defined based on GAP analysis
- Organize and promote continuous Improvement
Transportation
- Define the strategy of the region transportation management –
- Lead and support the implementation of the strategy defined and related tools (TMS)
- Drive improvement and compliance of the transportation through the relevant KPI and related tracking tools. follow up Transportation Network and External Logistics Services (warehouse, sequence.)
Operational Performance
- Lead the implementation in the Region of logistics standards operation and network (communication systems, transport, packaging & costs).
- Prepare budget plan and resources
Intralogistics
- Lead the intralogistics team, follow up the execution of the projects defined (investments, team staffing, implementation) according to the cost and timing defined.
Project Logistics
- Lead and coordinate the Project Logistics Team in order to deliver optimised solutions to Programs, meeting both GA and Customer milestones and internal economic targets (Packaging CAPEX, Piece Price Amortization, transport cost, inventories, packaging reuse…)
Job Qualifications
- Proven managerial experience
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
Academic Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent years of experience in management
Professional Experience
- Strong experience within a MRP System
- Good experience with Inventory and Material Handling management
- Proven track record to lead and manage teams with metrics and accountability
Personal Abilities
Sit, stand and mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed. Conduct computer work or engage in discussion with employees. Travel may be required.
