A leading company in mobility solutions is seeking a seasoned sales and business development leader to drive market growth in Mexico. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in leading sales strategies and achieving targets. The ideal fit will have strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, along with a proven ability to build a distribution network. This role involves developing business plans, managing P&L, and establishing key partnerships within the market.

Formación

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the country business plan to achieve sales targets, market share goals, and profitability.
  • Drive revenue growth across all Segway product lines through direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Build, manage, and optimize a multi-channel distribution network, including distributors, retailers, fleet partners, and strategic B2B accounts.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand market coverage and penetration.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and partners, ensuring mutual growth and alignment with Segway’s brand and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Position Segway products effectively against competitors and articulate unique value propositions.
  • Identify new business opportunities in emerging segments (e.g., shared mobility, corporate fleets, government projects).
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure aligned execution and market responsiveness.
  • Ensure efficient sales operations, inventory planning, and logistics coordination in collaboration with supply chain and operations teams.
  • Monitor market forces, regulatory changes, and economic shifts that may impact strategic direction or tactical plans.
  • Represent Segway at industry events, trade shows, and with key stakeholders, including government and media.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or general management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing the Mexican market.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing P&L, and building distribution networks in Mexico.
  • Deep understanding of the Mexican mobility, consumer electronics, automotive, or related industries.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and market analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Mexico and occasionally internationally.
Preferred
  • Experience in electric vehicles, micro-mobility, consumer technology, or automotive sectors.
  • Existing network of contacts within distribution, retail, fleet, or B2B sectors in Mexico.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with or for multinational companies.
