A leading analytical instruments company is seeking a sales professional to drive chemistry sales within the Americas Clinical Business Unit in Mexico. The candidate will be responsible for expanding relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional support, and managing the full sales cycle. A strong background in Chemistry or a related field, along with fluency in Spanish and experience in liquid chromatography, is essential. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in a dynamic market environment.

Formación

  • Minimum BS/B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology; MS/M.Sc. or PhD preferred.
  • Experience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and have good communication in English.

Responsabilidades

  • Drive chemistry sales growth for the Americas Clinical Team in Mexico.
  • Foster relationships with customers to drive sales.
  • Conduct on-site visits to provide product technical information.

Overview

Waters Corporation's Sales Organization is comprised of highly skilled, motivated and customer-focused professionals. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Americas Clinical Business Unit, focused on selling and expanding our chemistry business, including LC-MS sets and kits, to Waters customers. This position will maintain and grow customer relationships to ensure exceptional chemistry support through regular on-site consultative visits.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a team environment to drive chemistry sales growth for the Americas Clinical Team, specifically within the Mexico and Latin American markets. Candidate must be based in Mexico, ideally in or close to Mexico City.
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers to drive incremental chemistry sales and market penetration.
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to provide technical information and seminars regarding chromatography-related products and services.
  • Assess the market and identify opportunities to work with customers to transfer, develop, and/or optimize methods to our products.
  • Meet and exceed team and individual performance goals as set forth by management.
  • Manage the full sales cycle using a blend of face-to-face communication and electronic methods (telephone, email, Teams, web conferencing, etc.) with internal and external customers to progress sales opportunities.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Waters Clinical Chemistry products, providing technical guidance to customers and Waters team members.
  • Liaise with the Clinical R&D team on matters related to clinical chemistry products.
  • Attend local vendor shows and company-sponsored trade shows
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS/B.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology, preference for MS/M.Sc. or PhD
  • Experience and strong understanding of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, especially in the Clinical and Forensic Market segments.
  • Polished communication skills—verbal, telephone, and email.
  • Negotiation experience preferred.
  • Strong user of MS Office products, SAP, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • MUST be fluent in Spanish and working knowledge and good communication skills in English
