A prominent media company located in Ciudad de México is seeking a candidate to manage and organize audiovisual content for various productions. The role requires strong skills in editing platforms and media workflows, along with the ability to maintain an organized database of materials. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of experience in media environments. This position plays a key role in ensuring the availability and traceability of audiovisual resources for production teams.

Formación

Job Description

Responsible for the comprehensive, organized, and strategic management of audiovisual content generated by various production areas, through efficient processes of intake, classification, backup, and distribution. The role aims to optimize the use of multimedia resources, ensuring their traceability, availability, and alignment with the narrative and technical goals of each project. Acts as a key bridge between creative and technical teams, facilitating timely access to materials and ensuring operational continuity through platform support.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive & organize audiovisual material delivered by camera operators, reviewing clip by clip to identify relevant information and apply accurate labeling for future use.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and structured database of available materials, ensuring an efficient system for locating and using content in production.
  • Manage inventory of both physical and cloud-based storage, including uploading files to the virtual desktop and recording detailed acquisition dates and material origin (in-house, third-party, or government-sourced).
  • Provide audiovisual content to various shows and productions, ensuring the material effectively supports the narrative and objectives of each project.
  • Retrieve and back up material from the company’s internal systems to the cloud, ensuring proper classification and availability.
  • Prepare and distribute materials to producers through internal platforms, facilitating timely access to production resources.
  • Provide technical and operational support for internal tools, managing incidents through a ticketing system (ServiceNow) and ensuring efficient resolution.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Audiovisual Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in broadcast or media environments.
  • Strong knowledge of editing platforms such as Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with media ingest tools and related workflows.
  • Proficiency in media formats and efficient handling of audiovisual files.
  • Knowledge of storage software and hardware, both physical and cloud-based.
  • Ability to uphold and apply quality and compliance standards required by Telemundo Bureau.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
