Formación

  • 6+ years of experience in materials management, production scheduling, or inventory control in manufacturing.
  • Experience in managing teams involved in Materials, Warehouse, and Production Scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of MRP and/or ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

What will you do?

As a Kanban Lead in a manufacturing HVAC plant, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining Kanban systems that ensure the on-demand flow of materials to the manufacturing floor. You will lead initiatives to identify process gaps within Materials Planning and Inventory Control processes, developing action plans to align supply from global vendors through effective use of MRP and Kanban replenishment methods. Additionally, you will handle daily production support issues, manage consignment programs, and coordinate the scheduling and movement of inventory for outside processing operations.

How will you do it?
  • Establish and maintain Kanban systems to ensure efficient material flow to the production line.

  • Lead the development and management of Materials Requirement
    Planning activities in ERP systems.

  • Monitor performance metrics for suppliers and develop actions to improve delivery metrics.

  • Coordinate daily material expediting and set production priorities.

  • Manage warehouse operations and ensure compliance with routing guides.

  • Collaborate with procurement to identify and qualify suppliers and maintain vendor quality processes.

  • Train and develop material planning staff to support continuous improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of six (6) years of materials management, production scheduling, or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in managing teams involved in Materials, Warehouse, and Production Scheduling.

  • Proficiency in MRP and/or ERP systems.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of MacPac ERP.

  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification.

  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
