The Role
We're seeking an exceptional Marketing Automation & CRM Team Lead to drive our marketing technology practice and lead a team of automation specialists. This is a strategic leadership role that combines hands‑on MarTech expertise with team management, client relationship ownership, and business development.
You’ll be responsible for leading LATAM and international client accounts, designing sophisticated automation strategies, and building our marketing automation capabilities as we scale. This role requires someone who can seamlessly bridge marketing, technology, and data teams while managing both clients and internal team members.
What You’ll Own
Client Leadership & Account Management
- Lead and manage a portfolio of LATAM and international MarTech clients across multiple industries
- Serve as primary strategic advisor for marketing automation and CRM initiatives
- Act as the bridge between marketing, technology, and data teams to ensure seamless execution
- Present performance reports, strategic recommendations, and optimization roadmaps to C‑level stakeholders
- Drive client satisfaction, retention, and account growth
Marketing Automation Strategy & Execution
- Design, implement, and optimize end‑to‑end marketing automation strategies for diverse client portfolios
- Configure, manage, and optimize marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Eloqua, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, ActiveCampaign, etc.)
- Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of sophisticated multichannel campaigns
- Build advanced audience segmentation models and personalized customer journey maps
- Design and maintain automated workflows supporting the entire customer lifecycle (lead nurturing, onboarding, retention, win‑back)
- Integrate CRM systems with other marketing technologies and data sources
- Ensure all automation strategies align with client business objectives and KPIs
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing automation specialists
- Establish best practices, standards, and processes for the marketing automation practice
- Manage team workload, priorities, and project assignments
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Recruit and onboard new team members as the practice grows
Business Development & Innovation
- Craft marketing automation and MarTech proposals for new business opportunities
- Participate in new business pitches and client presentations
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Evaluate and adopt emerging MarTech and AI platforms to enhance client capabilities
- Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape
- Develop thought leadership content and case studies showcasing successful implementations
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of hands‑on marketing automation and CRM management experience
- 2+ years in a team lead, manager, or senior leadership role
- Client‑facing experience: Proven track record managing multiple client accounts, especially in agency or consultancy environments
- Platform expertise: Deep knowledge of major marketing automation platforms (Salesfoerce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar)
- CRM mastery: Strong experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Eloqua, HubSpot CRM, Dynamics, etc.)
- Technical skills: Comfortable with APIs, integrations, data management, and working with technical teams
- Data‑driven: Strong analytical skills with ability to derive insights from campaign data and automation metrics
- Bilingual fluency: Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish (you’ll present to international clients)
- Team leadership: Experience managing, mentoring, and developing team members
- Strategic thinking: Ability to align automation strategies with broader business goals and marketing objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI‑powered marketing tools and platforms (n8n, Make, LLMs, etc.)
- Background in demand generation, lead nurturing, or B2B marketing
- Certifications in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Oracle, Salesforce)
- Experience working with diverse industries (fintech, e‑commerce, SaaS, B2B, etc.)
- Knowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs) and data integration tools
- Familiarity with SQL, HTML/CSS, or basic coding for email and landing page customization.
- Familiarity with data models, data management (Supabase), and webhooks or http requests.
- Experience with attribution modeling and marketing analytics
- Master’s degree or advanced training in Marketing, Marketing Automation, or related field
