A leading global energy management firm is seeking a Manufacturing Change Owner in Querétaro. The successful candidate will manage changes in manufacturing processes to ensure quality and compliance. Key responsibilities include leading process changes, coordinating among engineering and production teams, and maintaining technical documentation. Ideal candidates will have a background in Industrial Engineering with over three years of experience, familiarity with manufacturing quality control, and intermediate English proficiency. Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Change Owner in our Querétaro location. This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing site that strives to be on the leading edge of technology to drive continuous improvement.

  • Act as the “Plant pilot” for integrating product evolutions into the Plant.
  • Coordinate the deployment of modifications on the Equipment Range.

Position Objective: Manage and coordinate changes in manufacturing processes, ensuring proper implementation, documentation, and communication to guarantee operational continuity, product quality, and compliance with internal and external standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of changes in manufacturing processes (Engineering Change Orders, layout modifications, parameter adjustments, etc.).
  • Coordinate with involved areas: Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Maintenance.
  • Ensure changes comply with quality, safety, and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain updated technical documentation (work instructions, BOM, drawings, procedures).
  • Monitor the impact of changes on costs, lead times, and efficiency.
  • Manage risks associated with changes and propose mitigation plans.
  • Track KPIs related to change implementation.
Requirements
  • Academic background: Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related.
  • Experience: +3 years in manufacturing, process engineering, or change management.
  • Manufacturing processes and quality control experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
  • Interpretation of drawings and technical specifications.
  • ERP (SAP, Oracle) and PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill).
  • Leadership and project management.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Intermediate-advanced English (essential for communication with corporate and suppliers).
