About this opportunity
As a Manager Clinical Education in Mexico & CALA Region, you will be responsible for external clinical education programs for the ortho channel, to drive adoption of the Invisalign system for Align Technology in LATAM. Your role involves managing education programs, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, developing educational content, overseeing speakers, and ensuring compliance and KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Design and establish clinical education pathways and engagement activities for new and existing customers.
- Create and maintain clinical education resources and platforms for customers.
- Collaborate with Ortho Professional Managers and Local Marketers to drive a cohesive approach to doctor engagement.
- Identify and coach new clinical speakers to drive educational programs.
- Deliver KPIs related to conversion of new doctors to Invisalign, following local plans.
- Contribute to LATAM educational strategy & implementation.
- Work with sales stakeholders on educational activities for the sales force in the assigned region/country.
- Own strategy for constructing education delivery models for customers, both internal (sales team) and external (faculty, speakers, and customers).
- Work cross‑functionally with other leaders to meet internal and external education needs.
- Roll out clinical education programs to build confidence and skills of doctors.
- Develop educational resources: copywriting, proofreading, agency briefings, and new platforms (offline & online).
- Collaborate with LATAM Professional, Local Market & Global Clinical Education teams to promote doctor engagement.
- Manage and maintain existing and new education platforms.
- Lead varied learning solutions for stakeholders and participants.
- Coordinate with Invisalign International and national speakers.
- Oversee development of clinical training content and evidence resources.
- Support clinical case studies, presentations, publications and dissemination of new research.
- Build internal networks and collaborate with regional stakeholders – Sales, Clinical Advisors, Marketing.
- Develop best practices for national and regional support needs.
- Build clinical & competency knowledge to inform broader LATAM marketing.
- Maintain relationships with speakers, customers, and universities.
- Meet key KOLs and influencers to understand unmet needs and digital tool usage in practices.
- Develop KPIs for all education events.
- Guarantee compliance standards in all doctor‑facing activities, approve assets, and collaborate with Regulatory and Legal departments.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Orthodontia.
- 6+ years of experience as orthodontist and/or orthodontic clinical education.
- 4+ years of experience in content production, preferably in corporate education.
- 4+ years of direct management experience leading and developing teams, including people managers.
- Proven track record of enabling teams to reach production and quality goals.
- Active interest in adult learning theories and emerging online learning approaches such as social networking, mobile learning, problem‑based learning, and story‑based learning.
- Experience in instructional systems design, preferably in corporate training, executive education, or professional development.
- Preference for candidates certified and experienced as Invisalign doctors.
- Soft skills: strategic thinker, highly organized, action‑oriented, takes initiative, results‑oriented, independent, task‑oriented, quick to respond.
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and overall computer organizational skills.
li>Fluent in English and local language (Spanish).
- Some travel required, up to 25% of time.
