About the Role

We've partnered with a growing early childhood education provider that operates a nationwide network of child-care centers. They are hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee end‑to‑end accounting operations across ***** centers and lead the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite. This is a high‑impact role where you'll combine hands‑on accounting with process improvement, helping the organization scale as it continues to expand its footprint.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite (~70% complete), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Manage full‑cycle accounting operations: general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain and update loan schedules, insurance allocations, and related entries across operating entities.
• Categorize transactions in Ramp, Brex, and other systems (approx. 1 day/month).
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision‑making.
• Continuously improve accounting processes and leverage NetSuite functionality for efficiency gains.
• Handle other responsibilities typically expected of a Senior Accountant.

What We’re Looking For

• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive, hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in NetSuite.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and transition projects from QBO to NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently while supporting a multi‑entity, growing organization.
